Game 6

The Ducks didn't cash in on their first chance to get rid of the Sharks falling 3-2 in overtime on Saturday night. The Ducks trailed 2-0 starting the 3rd. But Ryan Carter scored his first career playoff goal .55 seconds into the 3rd and roughly 3 minutes later Corey Perry tied the game at 2. It was pretty clear the refs put the whistles away in the third period as infractions could have been called for both teams including a trip on Ryan Getzlaf late in the 3rd that would have given the Ducks a powerplay well into overtime. Patrick Marleau then scored for the Sharks in sudden death and the series now moves back to Anaheim.
For the first time in the series the Ducks now have pressure on them not good for a team that wasn't all that consistent in the regular season.
